Our beginner friendly St Augustine kayaking tour will begin with a short paddle and safety clinic. After the clinic, your professional UF naturalist guide will fit you with a kayak and the necessary gear for a wonderful day on the water. The tour begins at Lighthouse Park with absolutely stunning views of the St Augustine lighthouse as we explore the magnificent beauty of the aquatic landscape of Anastasia State Park.
Dolphins, Stingrays, Sea Turtles, Manatees and a vast array of marsh birds may all be seen here. Mornings are the best to experience wildlife and calm winds and waters. Kayaking with the Dolphins! What a great way to start the day!BOOK NOW!
PUBLIC GROUP KAYAKING ST AUGUSTINE TOUR INFOPrices: $130.00 for tandem kayaks (2 adults) Kids 6-15 must ride in a tandem kayak with an adult. Sorry, no kids under 6 on our public tours. Kids under 6 are allowed on our private tours.
$70.00 for solo kayaks ages 17 plus.Our guides are great, please don't forget them! Gratuity is not included in the price. Just let us know at the end of the tour if you would like to add a tip to your credit card. Tour time: is 9:00 am We begin this tour early due to lighter winds and better chance to to see wildlife. We ask that you arrive 20 minutes early, to get started on time. There are bathroom facilities on site. Where: This tour begins at the St Augustine lighthouse park boat ramp. Lighthouse Park is located adjacent to Salt Run with the St. Augustine Lighthouse standing as the landmark for the area, on Anastasia Island. The address to the park is 442 Ocean Vista Avenue St Augustine Fl. 32080 (see map below) Meet us next to the boat ramp, we will be wearing dark blue Columbia shirts. We are not affiliated with the St Augustine yacht club. What To Bring: Wet shoes or shoes that can get wet, Hat, Sun Block, snacks, camera, extra change of clothes, (in case your butt gets wet) Drinking Water! Duration: About 2 hours. Your professional Florida naturalist is CPR certified, and will possess a camera to save the occasion and a smartphone and a marine radio, for any emergency and to keep track of any approaching weather.
Reservations can be made before 7:00 pm, 1- day prior… online or by phone 7 days a week. Mornings are best and with less chance of wind and weather tour cancellations.
